Georgia is a awesome chick from New Zealand who I work with and have loads of laughs with :) She was lovely enough to let me take a BUNCH of photos and use them as resources for my art....

At the mo I'm doing a bit experimenting with textas, pencils and also my digital camera which has fun settings! It can make the same image look totally different...

The beginning of the next part.

I'm starting a new project for uni based on portraits of my mates...I hope you enjoy the progress as much as I enjoy the journey.

I want to create portraits that show something about the person I am drawing, perhaps their energy...something that makes them them. I want the style to come naturally and intuitively whilst addressing certain technical aspects of portraiture...

This one is of my lovely mates from uni, she is brave enough to let me try and draw her. She has awesome eyes. Its just a preliminary sketch so far...
